The Daily Jordan: Air Jordan 1 Strap – Black – Varsity Red

The Air Jordan 1 is perhaps the sneaker from the legacy lineup that is most salient on retail shelves. For whatever reason, retro treatment for this silhouette has been traditionally pretty deep-whether it be through the standard model or any one of the augmented versions. And even with so many 1’s out there on the market, there’s a certain colorway near and dear to the hearts of Jordan devotees that will compel folks to cop regardless. We’re speaking of course of the black/varsity red look, a combo that stirred up quite a frenzy last year with the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’. Before that though, one of the better ways to get your hands on this revered colorway was from the strapped up version of the Air Jordan 1 that hit at the latter part of the last decade. With the classic colorway being the big draw, many heads ended up clipping the strap off to emulate the OG look.
