The Arizona Wildcats exceeded expectations last season by finishing the season with an Elite 8 appearance with the help of a breakout season from star forward Derrick Williams. The Wildcats came into this season with a number of questions with the main one being how would they perform without Williams who is now a Minnesota Timberwolf. Last night, the #16 Wildcats began their quest to put those questions to rest in their defeat of the Valparaiso Crusaders 73-64.
In addition to their basketball prowess, Point Guard U is known for its sneaker selection. Last night, the Wildcats showed again why they have the best collective in the NCAA when it comes to kicks. The players brought out their finest Air Jordans with the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’, Air Jordan V ‘Toro Bravo’, Air Jordan XIV ‘Light Graphite’ and Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’ being among the heat worn on court.
