Like the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ and Air Sky Jordan VII BPS ‘Cardinal’, Jordans Daily has come across an original pair of Air Jordan VIIIs. These AJ VIIIs last released in 2008 as part of the 8/15 Countdown Pack. Although these aren’t deadstock, they are in great condition for a pair of sneakers that released over 17 years ago. They feature a white, leather upper with perforations to allow the shoe to breathe since they got hot quickly and could be the reason Jordan suffered from numerous Athlete’s Foot infections during the 1992-93 season. More attention is drawn to the shoe due to the grey durabuck material at the back of the shoe in addition to the black, white and red streaks at the heel. A feature that stands out is on the box rather than the shoe. They were sold for $19.95 at a time when many Jordans, new releases and retro, often hit the sales rack at heavily discounted prices. Check out detailed images of these original VIIIs and the auction over on eBay.
