A few months ago, news of an Air Jordan IX designed for the Oregon Ducks drew interest toward the rare kicks as well as the football program from sneakerheads that aren’t in the know when it comes to college football. They’ll start looking into the Oregon State Beavers after it was revealed that Nike designed a set of Air Jordan IX player exclusives for them as well. The Corvallis, Oregon university is the chief rival of the Ducks with their ‘Civil War’ going back 117 years but despite that Tinker Hatfield along with Nike has pledged to rebrand the Oregon State football program so it makes sense that they would get their own player exclusives. This Air Jordan IX features a white upper with black contrast stitching as well as orange accents as well as a black outsole. Check out the Air Jordan IX ‘Oregon State’ PE and let us know if you think more colleges should get their own player exclusives. via MN.
