The North Carolina Tar Heels are NCAA champs for the sixth time in school history, and once more exactly 35 years after Michael Jordan hit the game-winner to clinch the ’82 title over Georgetown. It’s fitting that he would feature prominently on UNC’s latest championship gear. Jordan Brand is currently previewing the “Ceiling. Roof. Champions.” t-shirt on Nike.com, playing off of Jordan’s seemingly Yogi Berra-style remark one month ago during halftime of the Carolina-Duke game. During his remarks to the crowd, MJ uttered: “The ceiling is the roof,” referencing in some way that the sky is the limit for the Tar Heels. Whatever MJ exactly meant, he was right. UNC is on top of the college basketball world, and this new tee will hit Nike.com and Jordan retailers soon.
