Seems a trend is building with Jordan Brand’s training kicks for spring/summer 2017. The styling is definitely inspired by the classic signatures. Jordan Trainer Prime riffs off of Air Jordan 12, Jordan Trainer Essential includes some Air Jordan 8 vibes, and the Jordan Fly ’89 brings Air Jordan 4 to the gym.
Working with the sock-like fit the brand has emphasized lately with the Formula 23 and Express, Fly ’89 goes with the Nike Presto style one-piece upper, minimal fuse overlays for reinforcement only where necessary, and then adds the triangle wings and heel counter from Air Jordan 4.
Stay tuned for more colorways and release information hitting soon.
