With Kaws x Air Jordan 4 established as an upcoming release, we turn eyes to another landmark collaboration with the atmos x Air Jordan 3. Two enormous reasons to pay attention to this one. The first is that this shoe reps the first time ostrich print has been used on Air Jordan 3. The second is that its the first time Nike Air branding has been used on a non-OG colorway. Truly groundbreaking details in Air Jordan history.
Air Jordan acolytes know all about elephant print on Air Jordan 3. It very well may have been the feature that kept Michael Jordan from bolting Nike in 1987. But 1980s Nike produced ostrich print on the Nike Air Safari, not surprisingly also a Tinker Hatfield creation. Along with the AJ3, the atmos x Jordan Brand partnership includes the Nike Air Max 1 borrowing elephant print for its mudguard and collar detail. It’s the best of both worlds in one pack.
The atmos x Nike/Jordan pack is expected to release at a $400 clip. Details soon.
