When the Georgetown Hoyas women’s basketball team steps onto the court Friday to meet Seton Hall, they’ll be dressed in full #Play4Kay Nike and Jordan gear.
Previewed by Hoya Equipment, the traditional G-town uniform has turned pink, in addition to the team’s Nike apparel and Air Jordan 31 player exclusive sneakers. The honor will raise awareness for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, named for North Carolina State’s women’s coach Kay Yow who passed away in 2009 from breast cancer.
