Michigan is putting a new twist on cancer awareness footwear for Coaches vs. Cancer Week. Hoops coach John Beilein and his staff will wear Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle “Obsidian” for the Wolverines’ next two games – Indiana (tonight, 9pm ET, ESPN2) and Michigan State (Sunday, 1pm ET, CBS).
But these aren’t simply the $400 sneakers you remember releasing last fall. They include Princess Lacey’s Laces, created and named after Lacey Holsworth, an 8-year-old Michigan State fan who passed away from cancer in 2014.
Take a look at the kicks below. You can buy your own sets of Princess Lacey’s Laces here. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society and Princess Lacey’s Legacy.
