With Dwyane Wade as the the face of Jordan Brand on and off the court, Air Jordan 2011 rolled out numerous colorways throughout 2011. Air Jordan 2011 “Dark Charcoal” served as the default “Away” colorway, sporting handcrafted Patina leather, interchangeable midsoles with either Zoom Air or traditional Air Sole technology. Tinker Hatfield and Tom Loudecke co-created the design in collaboration with Michael Jordan, resulting in a sneaker that evenly balances style and performance.
