The Miami Heat made the NBA Playoffs in 1992, their first foray into the postseason since their founding in 1988. Too bad their first round draw was the defending champion Chicago Bulls with a determined, prime Michael Jordan.
After the Bulls destroyed the Heat 113-94 and 120-90 in the first two games in Chicago, they flew to Miami ready to brush aside the young expansion franchise. The game was closer in scoring but the Bulls prevailed, 119-114, thanks to MJ’s 56 points in only 43 minutes.
