Unreleased sneakers are usually colorways that just didn’t make the cut. Mark Smith proves that group includes funky prototypes with this quick look at an Air Jordan 3 from 2003. Smith, Jordan Brand’s resident lasering storyteller, captioned that the brown and black size 9 shoe was created as a birthday gift. In addition to the intricate lasering throughout the upper, including pebbled basketball style leather, the recipient also received perhaps the first Air Jordan 3 Low ever created, with the collar height cut way down from the 3’s original mid-top. Would you rock this version if they ever released? Let us know your thoughts on this unorthodox Air Jordan 3 below.
