Mike Conley got his new era with Jordan Brand and the new Memphis Grizzlies season off on the right foot on Wednesday night, realizing a childhood dream and getting a nice win at the same time.
Conley, who signed with Jordan Brand over the summer after eight years with adidas and one season testing Under Armour, laced up Air Jordan 31 “Battle Grey” to score 24 points along with one rebound and four assists as Memphis outlasted the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 102-98.
As Conley shared on Twitter before the game, the first game officially representing Jordan Brand was a dream come true, having looked up to Michael Jordan as a youngster.
