Whether you credit Timberland or kicks like the Nike Air Zoom Generation and Nike LeBron 12 EXT, the “Wheat” look remains a sleeper hit for many a sneaker fan. But outside of these offerings, it’s certainly been on the limited side of shoe drops. Is Jordan Brand about to throw its hat into that ring? This brief Air Jordan 4 glance seems to thumbs up. No mesh paneling, no plastic side wings, either, leaning the vibe toward the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Premium in styling. Will the price be in the $400 range? Will the soles be rugged like winterized Jordans? Questions abound. Better stay tuned for updates on this one.
UPDATE: Ok, here’s the first full profile shot of the “Wheat” Air Jordan 4. We can now rule out any winterized boot tread, as these will carry a light shade gum sole. Leather wings mirror those featured on the Air Jordan 4 Premium, only this time it’s full leather right up through the lacing ports. That’s a first for the AJ4.
