Though the Toronto Raptors moved on from their purple and red color scheme, the “Raptors” nickname carries on among the sneaker community to describe any Air Jordan featuring those colors. The team’s aesthetics and dinosaur mascot have been a hit with kids since day one, an appropriate connection with this new Air Jordan 5 release for the grade school set.
