Last month, Michael Jordan made comments to an Australian newspaper, The Herald Sun, about the current NBA lockout as well as Milwaukee Bucks player Andrew Bogut. The NBA wasn’t too happy about what he said and as a result of the interview, fined Jordan $100,000. While that might not be much to Michael, it does send the message that the NBA is very serious about keeping information about the lockout under wraps. It could be worse though as owners and coaches face $1 million fines if they are caught communicating with players currently under contract.
