Air Jordan 11 Low IE released for only the third time ever in 2011. This sneaker debuted in mid-1996 as an option that designer Tinker Hatfield deliberately created for summer wear. Ornate overlays maintained the 11’s overall two-material design while being lighter, and allowed mesh vents to cool the interior. The 11 Low IE was so important that its intricate stitching sparked Hatfield’s creative process for the classic Air Jordan 12.
