The Bulls were 2.9 seconds away from a 3-1 lead over the Pacers in the 1998 East Finals.

Then Reggie Miller pushed off.

The Pacers gunner brushed Jordan away, curled around the right wing, caught the inbounds, and nailed the go-ahead three with a speck left on the clock.

Conspiracy theorists might say the refs overlooked Reggie blatantly shoving MJ to up the Pacers’ odds of extending the series. Others might chalk up the no-call to the haze of the moment.

Whatever the reason, Reggie’s bomb knotted the series at 2-2, setting up a dogfight as the match ran the full seven games. The Bulls, of course, outlasted their determined foes to reach their sixth NBA Finals.
