Air Jordan 3 “Mocha” is one of the many non-OG retro colorways that fans have grown to appreciate over the years, but it was a different story when they released in September 2001. Perhaps fans weren’t ready for the simple white and brown nubuck colorway. Sticker price was $99.99, and they sat. Then spots like Champs Sports and Nike.com marked them down to $80 and below. Still sat. Eventually they disappeared, and around five years later the love began. Jordan Brand still hasn’t revisited these but you can find pairs in various condition now on eBay
