It was a long wait but Jordan Brand finally came through. Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” returned to shelves over the weekend in OG form for the first time since June 2, 1999. And in keeping with JB’s retro remaster process, this release was all about the details and returning to roots – correctly-angled mesh, restored laces ports, and that Nike Air branding inside and out. If you do a quick Google search, you’ll see comparisons showing the 2016 approximating the 1989 original very closely, in some respects even more so than the much-loved ’99 drop. Good time to be an AJ4 fan, for sure. Though these were a general release, the demand was still strong. So if you missed out, you can check with sneaker havens like Stadium Goods to find your size.
