With Russell Westbrook gunning, the Oklahoma City Thunder are never out of a game. That’s what happened Friday night in Orlando.
The Magic took the lead on Victor Oladipo‘s three with 3.9 seconds remaining. That turned out to be plenty of time for Westbrook, who caught the inbounds, dribbled a few feet over half court and launched a bomb. Bank shot good, headed to OT, where Oladipo cans a three at the buzzer to trigger double OT.
From there, Westbrook and Durant were just too much for the young Magic. Westbrook finished with 48 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, one steal and one block, while Durant chipped in a cool 43, 12, 2, 1 and 2 for the 139-136 win.
