The Chicago Bulls outlasted the East champ Cleveland Cavaliers, 97-95, the young Detroit Pistons upended the Atlanta Hawks on the road, 106-94, and the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors handled the New Orleans Pelicans, 111-95.

Down in Atlanta, Detroit big Andre Drummond stuck with his Jordan Dub Zero for a monster stat line of 18 points, 19 rebounds. three assists, one steal and two blocks, and Nate Robinson didn’t score a point but held down the west coast with Air Jordan 12 for New Orleans.
