The 2016 NBA season hit the ground running on Tuesday night with three games on the slate. The Chicago Bulls outlasted the East champ Cleveland Cavaliers, 97-95, the young Detroit Pistons upended the Atlanta Hawks on the road, 106-94, and the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors handled the New Orleans Pelicans, 111-95.

In the Air Jordan department, there weren’t any eye-popping debuts like Ray Allen’s “Ring Ceremony” Air Jordan 11 in 2013, but some choice Jumpman kicks still took the court.

Chicago’s Jimmy Butler laced up a white/black/red edition of the Jordan Super.Fly 4 for 17 points, while Cleveland’s J.R. Smith decided to match his squad’s navy blue and gold with with green croc skin Air Jordan 11 Low IE for 8 points.

Down in Atlanta, Detroit big Andre Drummond stuck with his Jordan Dub Zero for a monster stat line of 18 points, 19 rebounds. three assists, one steal and two blocks, and Nate Robinson didn’t score a point but held down the west coast with Air Jordan 12 for New Orleans.
