The NBA has been locked for about two months now and looks as if an end isn’t in sight if you believe what is being reported. Michael Jordan, the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, briefly spoke on the lockout from the owners perspective especially that of a small market owner. He claimed that the current model was broken in addition to most of the teams in the league were losing money. He also said that small market teams like his franchise would greatly benefit from a hard salary cap to prevent teams like the Miami Heat from paying to dollar to highly sought after free agents like LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
