October’s Very Own revealed today detailed shots of its Alternate jersey collaboration with the Toronto Raptors, one of the latest reminders of Jordan Brand celebrity Drake‘s weight as a style influencer.
The Raptors will wear the black and gold threads throughout the season as part of the team identity rebrand, which Drake has been a key part of.
As OVO fans and Air Jordan loyalists know, gold is Drake’s signature color, setting apart his OVO x Air Jordan retros as the the hottest release going this side of Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy line.
Both Air Jordan 10 OVO releases this year were instant sellouts, setting up more anticipation for the Air Jordan 8 OVO as the next possible mega-drop.
Expect to see more OVO-infused gear, and more Drake Jordans, as we move into 2016.
