Thanks to his turn as Mars Blackmon and shoes like the Jordan Spiz’ike, Spike Lee‘s place in Jordan Brand lore is secure. Virtually bronzed. But the doesn’t mean the noted director’s footwear influence is retired. Quite the contrary – Jordan Brand is expanding Lee’s visibility with the Jordan Air Spike 40, a new casual sneaker in the vein of the Westbrook 0 and Jasmine. Lee wore the Game Royal/Total Orange-White-Black colorway to the New York Liberty game at Madison Square Garden, which was caught by the camera lens of photographer geminikeez. The Jordan Air Spike 40 is due to drop on October 14. More info to come.
