The Very First Air Jordan Christmas Commercial Is Awesome

Everyone knows the original Air Jordan 1 “Banned” commercial, sending Nike sales through the roof as fans couldn’t wait to get their pair of the supposedly forbidden kicks. But there was another iconic clip from that period just as simple and well-done. For Christmas 1985, Nike unleashed a spot featuring Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” in which Michael Jordan balls against Santa in true pickup one-on-one. Santa rocked the “Banned” colorway but his height, weight and red pants probably tipped the advantage to MJ.
