Even though the University of Michigan has gained the majority of Jordan Brand’s attention in the collegiate world, the University of North Carolina is still Michael Jordan’s alma mater. Which means they’ll always be in the running for best player exclusives. UNC Basketball’s Instagram just shared two examples to prove that assertion, home versions of Air Jordan 31 and Jordan Super.Fly 5. UNC’s exclusives have always fielded extremely clean white-based colorways, which hold true with this edition that mixes Carolina’s light blue into bright white, with a block-lettered call out under the tread. The Super.Fly 5 flips the color blocking for a similar effect, the UNC logo stitched into each tongue. No plans for a release to retail but let us know your thoughts on each below. The next Air Jordan 31 you can pick up is “Shattered Backboard” releasing tomorrow.
