So, Allen Iverson Wore Air Jordans on ESPN Today

Allen Iverson is all Reebok, all the time. Except when he’s paying tribute to Michael Jordan. The retired Philadelphia 76ers legend appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter earlier today to talk about his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2016, a roster that includes the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Yao Ming, and Sheryl Swoopes. But Iverson didn’t step in front of the camera in his iconic Reebok Question, instead wearing the Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement.” It was Iverson’s tribute to Jordan, who served as a role model for young Iverson in the early 1990s and inspired him to wear the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” during his final season at Georgetown. While A.I. respects his sneaker elder, don’t expect him to defect from his RBKs. Iverson signed with Reebok in 1996, and re-upped for a lifetime deal with the company in 2001.
