It was a long wait, but Jordan Brand finally uncorked the Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” on August 30, 2014 – the first time fans could get this alternate original colorway since 1991.

In recent years, there was a debate raging sneaker forums about whether the shade of blue was September or Sport. As was custom in the olden days, the original Nike shoe box label truncated the colorway to “Wh/Spt Bl – Blk.” Eventually, through catalog research and style code cracking, it was discovered that Sport was the official tag. (Although September would’ve been appreciably more interesting.)

Like its White/Infrared counterpart, the Sports featured a simple white leather and black accenting setup, but subbed in the solid blue for highlights. There are plenty of these available, some for good deals, right now via eBay.
