Jordan Brand’s inspiration wheel finally clicked on the McDonald’s “Nothing But Net” commercial from Super Bowl XXVII, starring Michael Jordan and Larry Bird in a game of H.O.R.S.E. that quickly escalates into the reaches of impossibility – all for the rights to scarf down a Big Mac and fries. If you remember that commercial (watch it below) you’ll recognize the graphic pattern Air Jordan shirt and shorts – no sweater – that MJ wears in the spot, with purple, red and yellow hectically mingling in an all-over print. Jordan Brand re-created that look for this upcoming Air Jordan 7‘s theme, wisely choosing to use it only as accenting over white leather. You can expect this colorful Air Jordan to release later this fall. More photos and details on the way.
