A good 18 years before Jordan Brand put out the Air Jordan 9 “Johnny Kilroy” series, Upper Deck put out this trading card of Kilroy – a player that looks a whole lot like Michael Jordan, right down to the stats. This was part of Nike’s campaign for Jordan right after he retired from the NBA on October 6, 1993, keeping fans wondering what was next and subtly letting us all know that MJ wasn’t completely giving up basketball. You can peruse eBay now to add this card and other Johnny Kilroy memorabilia now. Stay tuned for more Vintage Gear here at Jordans Daily.
