Shane Victorino has changed teams, and coasts, but his sneaker game is steady on. The newly minted Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder shared his latest sneaker update today – a pair of Air Jordan 11 “Space Jams” that have been custom lasered by none other than Mark Smith, Creative Director at Jordan Brand. Smith, as you’ll recall, helmed the intricate lasering for retrospective-focused Air Jordan XX, and has contributed to numerous Jordan projects over the last decade. While the gold lasering on these Space Jams leans toward graffiti at a glance, Shane assured his Instagram followers that the letters make up words and quotes that he lives by every day. Perhaps there’s a “shaka” – a favorite social media tag of Victorino – in there somewhere? Check the work here and jump over to Mark Smith’s Instagram hedcheq for some more crazy lasering art.
