Marking an historic return to original form, Air Jordan 4 White/Cement will be released during the 2016 NBA All-Star break – Saturday, February 13th – with Nike Air branding on the heels and insoles.

The return of this colorway is cause enough for giddiness in many sneaker fan circles but Nike Air branding on the heel puts this release’s profile over the top. White/Cement 4 has only released three times in history – 1989 original, 1999 retro (shown here for effect), and 2012 re-retro. Sneaker connoisseurs have pined for a repeat of the ’89 and ’99 look for years and it appears Jordan Brand is finally meeting that demand.

Triggered in part by those impassioned cries for Nike Air, Jordan Brand has slowly re-introduced this original detail across Air Jordan 1 High OG releases, Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88 in 2013, the insoles of this year’s Air Jordan 7 “Hare” and “Bordeaux,” and now the upcoming Maroon 6 and White/Cement 4. Expect many more details and photos as we move along 2015 and into the opening weeks of 2016.
