Cleaning out a closet – cleaning anything, for that matter – is often a pain. But if you’re unearthing Air Jordans to give away to your fans it’s not so bad. This evening Richard Hamilton sent out this photo of some Air Jordans that apparently were taking up needed space in his closet and now need good homes, including his Air Jordan 2 player exclusives from the Pistons days.

Understandably, many of his Instagram followers have been imploring the 2004 NBA champ to send one or all five pairs their way. And since Rip officially retired in February of this year and hasn’t played in the NBA since 2013, perhaps there are more gems to be uncovered at his pad for future giveaways. No word yet from Rip how he’s going to decide who gets what so it probably wouldn’t hurt to head over to his Instagram ripcity3232 and put in a good word for yourself.

Rip’s unloading follows Air Jordan giveaways from Kendall Marshall and Stephen Jackson earlier this year.
