Jordan Brand’s retro releases rightly absorb the lion’s share of attention and excitement from sneaker fans the world over. But behind all of that retail ruckus is the brand’s performance-based offerings like the Flight Runner 2, a shoe so effective that the Jordan brass based their first ever golf shoe on it. Now they’ve dipped into a colorway classic for the next Flight Runner 2 release – White/Infrared 23-Midnight Navy.
Using an Air Jordan 6 white/infrared look, the FR2 goes with a white mesh and fuse upper, allowing the infrared to pop the dynamic Flywire and logos while navy backlights everything else. Subtle speckling on the midsole, too. Along with the Flight Flex sole, you’re ready for the street or the trail; that is, if you’re daring enough to take white runners off-road. You can start checking in with your usual Jordan stores for these now and over the next few weeks.
