Air Jordan 16 has plenty of real estate to host custom art, so Revive Customs maxed it out with an “exquisite corpse” creation.

According to Revive’s Evan Macpherson, two pairs of Air Jordan 16s were given the corpse treatment, with Revive team member Jai Cruz taking part in the project. As Macpherson explains it, an exquisite corpse piece is “when one artist draws on half of a folded piece of paper, then its given to another artist to finish, often not knowing what is on the other side of the paper.”

The result for this custom is that Macpherson painted the floral pattern, inked in pink and yellow highlights, while Cruz penned the zebra-like damascus pattern on the 16’s gaiter.

Check out more photos of their work below and visit revivecustoms.blogspot.com for more examples of their custom sneaker art. Also, this post raises another topic. Should Jordan Brand start dropping XVI retros? Who wouldn’t dig fresh pairs of Breds, Cherrywoods, and Gingers? Discuss.
