Jordan Brand has surprised us with a number of unexpected retro releases this year (here’s looking at you Air Jordan 2) but now we’re getting word that the Air Jordan 14 “Thunder” will release on July 4th, 2014. That’s fairly appropriate seeing as how the vibrant yellow accents will light up the dark black upper just like the fireworks will on Independence Day. The sneaker borrows its name from the Air Jordan 4, and we’re definitely looking forward to having the scheme hit Mike’s last championship sneaker.
