With the release of the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”, Jordan Brand has decided to take the celebration a step further and place the inspiration atop the Air Jordan 1. We’re not talking about an Air Jordan 6 x Air Jordan 1 hybrid either, the likes of which we’ve seen for the Air Jordan 1 Retro 86 and beyond. Instead, the Jumpman slyly takes the colorway inspiration from the “Carmine” to give us the Air Jordan 1 “Carmine”. The sneaker features alternating panels of white and carmine red much like the Air Jordan VI while an icy outsole contrasts the black accents on the tongue, laces, lining and Swoosh.
