Jordan Brand had a huge year in 2013, continuing their stronghold on the sneaker landscape by revamping a number of retros with new colorways, but part of their success can also be attributed to how eager they are to use their influence to tred new territory. Very rarely have we seen the Jumpman sulk in the past due to the popularity of their retros. Instead, they have outfitted their stars with premium uppers complete with new technology like the Jordan Flight Plate (just look at the Air Jordan XX8 for proof of their fondness for reinvention). Sneaker News recently sat down with VP and Global Brand Jordan Marketing Director, Brian O’Connor, to get some details on the upcoming Air Jordan 29, talk about the recent signing of Drake to the Jordan family and more – it’s definitely a must read. Be sure to read the entire article over at Sneaker News and let us know your opinion on Jordan Brand’s future and what you look forward to in terms of the Jumpman’s plans for 2014 and onward by taking your thoughts to our comments section.
