2012’s Kilroy Pack definitely had a larger impact than most expected it would have on the Air Jordan 9’s lineage. While pairs of that shoe can still be seen today lingering on the feet of NBA players ranging from the Cavaliers to that classic all red “Motorboat Jones” iteration, the Air Jordan 9 “Barons” feels right at home within the lineage of the Kilroy Pack. Featuring a stitched ’45’ as a reference to the number MJ wore during his stint playing AA ball for the White Sox farm team, the shoe is hit with a simple enough scheme that should have some staying power strictly on how well you can match the rest of your wardrobe with the white-grey-black scheme. (Just ask owners of the Air Jordan 10 “Steel” and Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shadow”). The shoe plans on hitting retailers come April 5th, so be sure to stick with us and check out our always updated Jordan Release Dates page and grab an on-feet preview of the shoe after the click.
