The Jordan Melo 1.5 will release tomorrow, January 4th, 2014 in its first ever retro colorway of Black – Metallic Silver – University Blue. You might remember this pair from Carmelo’s rookie campaign out in Denver, as the university blue is more a callout to the Nuggets uniform then it is to say, MJ’s time spent playing at UNC (even though the color coincidently doubles as a reference to both in the Jordan catalogue). After 10 years with the Jumpman, the brand is honoring Melo’s time as an All-Star in the league and will continue to release new colorways of this signature. What do you think of this particular scheme? As always, be sure to get one last view of this upcoming Jordan Brand release before they hit retailers tomorrow and see if you can grab a pair for yourself a little early on eBay.
