As the NBA has expanded over the past decade post-Jordan, we’ve come to the point where another player has been mentioned countless times in the same sentence as MJ: LeBron James. Agree with it or not, the two most marketable athletes have been these two stars – the only difference is that one concedes to wear the other’s sneakers from time to time. LeBron was recently spotted in the Heat’s locker room with teammates Dwyane Wade and new acquisition Michael Beasley wearing a pair of the classic Air Jordan III “Black/Cement”. While Beasley opted for the Air Jordan XI “Bred”, LeBron has always been a fan of MJ’s third signature (having worn the “Bright Crimson” pair to celebrate his second straight championship). Hit the gallery to see the full image and let us know what you think of LBJ wearing MJ’s signatures in the comments.
