It was Michael Jordan’s tenacity that earned him the title of being the all-time greatest to ever lace up a pair of signature sneakers and hit the hardwood, and he still believes that he’s the best to this day – just ask O.J. Mayo who apparently trash talked his way into a one-on-one duel when he was in High School and lost. In a recent interview promoting the release of NBA 2k14, Jordan sat down to discuss a list of players he would’ve liked to face off against one-on-one during his prime and it included Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Kobe and of course the reigning two-time champion LeBron James. MJ said that he’d beat all of the newer crop of players because of the physicality that dominated the game when he played and also noted that he’d only lose to Kobe because he stole all of his moves.
