It looks like the Air Jordan V “Laney” will be the only shoe coming out this year to commemorate Michael Jordan’s High School, as the rumored Air Jordan V “Black Laney” doesn’t have any ties to the school after all. Instead, the classic black upper hit with the varsity maize and royal accents on the midsole has an interesting heel logo that as the Chinese “Shen” stitched into it which is an abbreviation for Shanghai. So does this mean that this release will be a China exclusive, keeping it away from the clamoring hands of US fans much like the Air Jordan V “Tokyo 23” did?
