Much like the man who made the Jumpman famous, Jordan Brand always has something up their sleeves to please their every growing fan base. And while the Air Jordan V “Grape” finally released this year to the pleasure of many, JB had even more in store by taking the retro colorway and hitting with a black upper for the surprising and unexpected Air Jordan V “Black Gape”. Will a similar situation go down for the upcoming Air Jordan V “Laney”? Today we get a look at what seems to be an inverted scheme of MJ’s High School, with a black nubuck upper while the midsole is hit with varsity maize and royal blue. While we aren’t positive, the heel does feature a logo strikingly similar to Laney High’s compass logo. Hit the gallery for a better look and stay tuned for possible release information.
