While the Thunder bowed out of this year’s playoffs earlier than expected due to Russel Westbrook’s injury, his fans finally have something to cheer about: the release of the Air Jordan XX8 “Westbrook OKC Pack”. Available in three unique colorways that Westbrook wore throughout the regular season, the Air Jordan XX8’s synthetic textile upper gives an unlimited number of options in terms of patterns, gradients and even cut outs and this pack showcases this unique ability well. Read more after the jump.
The shoe comes in an all blue with Russel’s motto of “Why Not?” written in orange. A Thunder colored camouflage-esque pattern can be seen on the second, and the third shoe was featured on Westbrook’s feet throughout home games this past season. It’s the only shoe that makes use of a printed pattern through cut-outs and while the most subtle of the group, the XX8 silhouette alone is enough to stand out.
The Air Jordan XX8 “Westbrook Pack” will release this Saturday, June 8th at selected House of Hoops locations starting at 8:00 a.m. EST for $250 each. Be sure to head over to the Jordan Release Dates page for more info and check out full purchase information courtesy of FootLocker.
