Dwyane Wade led the Marquette Golden Eagles to the Final Four in 2003 where they were defeated by the Kansas Jayhawks, a result that would not allow for a much-anticipated showdown with Carmelo Anthony and the Syracuse Orangemen. The two today are both on Jordan Brand and like Anthony, Wade will release a colorway from his signature line that pays homage to his alma mater. The Jordan Fly Wade 2 ‘Marquette’ features a color palette of University Gold/Obsidian-White and while Buzz Williams’ Marquette team has worn the Jordan Fly Wade 2 iD this season, we can expect to see them wear these in the Big East and NCAA Tournaments.
