After 15 seasons in the National Football League, defensive end Jason Taylor has finally called it a career. He went out on top in his last professional game as he and the Miami Dolphins eliminated rival New York Jets from playoff contention. Taylor retires as a potential first ballot Hall of Fame candidate with him being sixth all-time in sacks, six Pro Bowl appearances and a Defensive Player of the Year award in 2006. He was awarded with the game ball following Sunday’s victory and in an emotional goodbye to his teammates he said that “playing the game was a privilege” and that “for the last 15 years he’s been able to play a kid’s game and got paid to do it.” We’d just like to say congratulations on a stellar career and for more Jordan related updates stick with Jordans Daily.
