Aaron Brooks Plays In Air Jordan XX9 Oregon Ducks

March 9th, 2015 By

Though St. Patrick’s Day is one week away from tomorrow, the Bulls had to celebrate it tonight at home against Memphis (no more homes until 3/18). In trying to match some special sneakers to his team’s kelly green uniform, Bulls interim starting point guard Aaron Brooks found a way to incorporate his alma mater by lacing up the Air Jordan XX9 “Oregon Ducks” player exclusive. The sneaker’s silver, yellow and scant green colorway managed somehow to coordinate instead of clash with the sleeved threads, no doubt thanks to their common use of green and gold. Brooks, who played for the Ducks from 2003 to 2007, scored 15 points in his collegiate kicks but the evening ended with a 101-91 Memphis victory. Did Aaron win anyway? Give us your thoughts on his Ducks kicks below.

Jordan Melo M10: “Oregon Ducks” PE

June 16th, 2014 By

The Jordan Melo M10 is in the process of being phased out for whatever else Jordan has in store for Carmelo’s eleventh signature with the brand, but that doesn’t mean that the silhouette has to go away quietly. The latest look just happens to be an Oregon Ducks themed colorway that sees an array of kelly green, vibrant yellow and black swirl on the mesh tongue and toebox while a metallic silver base lets the yellow laces and midsole shine. Add in the signature Duck logo on the tongue and this sneaker is definitely something we would’ve loved to see on the feet of some Oregon hoopers this past March. Grab a better look at this Carmelo Anthony PE after the click and let us know if you’d try to grab a pair if they ever saw a retail release.

Juwan Howard Commissions Dank Customs for Air Jordan 3 “Legends” & Air Jordan 4 “Oregon”

January 28th, 2014 By

Some of the biggest stories last year regarding Jordans were pairs that never saw a retail release (unfortunately). Whether it was Justin Timberlake’s brief collaboration with the Jumpman for some exclusive all red pairs to coincide with his and Jay-Z’s “Legends of the Summer” Tour or the University of Oregon PEs that rolled in the multiple silhouettes, many were green with envy at the people that actually got their hands on them, but don’t worry – not even a guy with some connection to the brand could get some. Juwan Howard recently hit up Dank Customs for his very own pair of the Air Jordan 3 in the spirit of the “LOTS” scheme while also recreating a Ducks scheme atop the Air Jordan IV with a “Home” look. Which pair is your favorite? Stick with us after the click for images to support your answer and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Air Jordan 5: “JumpDucks” – Oregon Ducks PE

January 20th, 2014 By

The Oregon-Nike connect has always been synonymous since the inception of those crazy football jerseys sported on the field donning the signature Swoosh. And while Eugene might serve as a testing ground for Nike’s new technology and knack for vibrant colors, the basketball team and football team alike have been treated to a number of enticing player exclusives over the past couple of seasons – most recently in the form of that Air Jordan 5 that may or may not see a release date for the public. The basketball team recently got another PE and it stands out for a couple of reasons: not only does the back heel mix up materials and colors with a contrasting yellow patent leather atop a mostly forest green nubuck, but the back heel logo ditches the Air Jordan for a custom “JumpDuck” that takes the Oregon mascot and has it pose in the signature Jumpman look. The tongue gets the usual ‘O’ treatment while jersey numbers are written inside. Could we see this pair arrive at retailers? Although that’s unlikely, hit the click to get a full look and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Air Jordan 11 Low: “Oregon Ducks”

November 18th, 2013 By

PE heat continues to pour in support for the Oregon Ducks after the Air Jordan V “Ducks” turned collective heads over the past couple of weeks. While the kelly green pair is definitely on everyones wishlist, the latest silhouette to fall victim to a Eugene overhaul is the Air Jordan 11 Low, featuring a green patent leather strip while bright yellow hits the Jumpman stitching on the heel and the signature ‘O’ logo replaces the normal number 23. While we only get one angle, be sure to stick with Jordans Daily for more updates on this pair and let us know what you think in the comments.

Air Jordan 5: “Ducks” On-Feet

November 7th, 2013 By

Although some recent Oregon athletes have gotten into some trouble for selling their exclusive kicks, it doesn’t look like that’s stopped Jordan Brand from sending more Eugene heat their way in the form of the Air Jordan 5 “Ducks”. The shoes recently were given to the gridiron squad to hype them up for tonight’s match up against Stanford and with a bright kelly green upper and vintage Duck logo on the back, they probably succeeded. Linebacker Tyson Coleman recently showed off his pair, so hit the click to get a full view and let us know where these rank among Oregon PEs in the comments.
