Jason Sudeikis proved last night that he’s one of those guys that you just can’t get out of a pair of sneakers. Sudeikis showed up to the 2013 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC with the Air Jordan XI “Bred” on feet. The Air Jordan XI has long been a go-to sneaker for formal wear, but does it seem a little out of place on this particular red carpet? Is the Air Jordan III ‘Joker’ a sneaker you’re looking to pick up amongst the myriad 2013 NBA All-Star releases from Jordan Brand? Funnyman Jason Sudeikis doesn’t have to worry about putting together a pickup-he was apparently already blessed by a pair (Perhaps directly from the Jordan folks?). Sudeikis was seen walking around NYC with girlfriend Olivia Wilde, seemingly unafraid of putting the brand new Air Jordan III through the post-Nemo weather. Show up at any running event these days and you’re bound to see Swoosh sneakers dominate the course, but how often is it that you see a pair of retro Air Jordans pounding the pavement? Here’s at least one instance to make note of, actress Olivia Wilde laced up in the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ at the EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women at Central Park. You’ll notice Emma Stone next to her with perhaps a more practical selection with something from the Nike Free line, but we’re giving props to Olivia here for ditching any fears of creasing and just rocking her sneakers.
